Local Area Needs Assessment (LANA) is a detailed assessment of health need, based on an analysis of local level data across domains as well as community, clinician and service partner consultation. A LANA analyses the health and service needs and service gaps to identify where services should be enhanced or commenced to address greatest health need and deliver the greatest impact or value.
