Programs

Indigenous Respiratory Outreach Care Program

The Indigenous Respiratory Outreach Care (IROC) program provides respiratory services for children and adults.

Services include:

  • chronic lung disease management
  • lung health checks
  • referrals to other health providers
  • treatment.

Indigenous Cardiac Outreach Program

The Indigenous Cardiac Outreach Program (ICOP) provides cardiac outreach services for rural and remote communities.

Services include:

  • point-of-care chronic cardiac disease management
  • treatment
  • referrals to other health providers
  • education.

First Nations Health Equity Strategy

Queensland Health and the Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Health Council (QAIHC) are working together to develop an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Equity Framework.

The framework places First Nations peoples and voices at the centre of healthcare service design and delivery in Queensland.
