How we developed our strategic plan
We developed our strategic plan following consultation with members of our community and our staff.
It outlines our vision: 'Central West Hospital and Health Service is a trusted, resourceful and dependable provider of quality, far-reaching healthcare across our widespread, diverse communities.'
We'll focus on the following priorities to achieve our vision.
- PEOPLE: Empowering and investing in a skilled workforce that is valued and supported, and develops collaborative partnerships with our remote communities.
- SERVICES: Delivering comprehensive and integrated healthcare services, ensuring accessible, equitable and highquality care which encourages optimal health outcomes.
- SYSTEMS: Promoting continuous improvement in delivering safe, high-quality, consumer-focused healthcare services, through effective sustainable support systems.
The plan describes our objectives, strategies and key performance indicators. It helps patients and carers, staff, our community, partners and all other stakeholders understand our future direction.
